Fall Schedule starts September 6th A reminder to all customers that our Fall Schedule comes into effect on September 6th.  On September 6th, we will be operating on a regular Fall Sunday Schedule in observance of the Labour Day holiday. Copies of all Fall Schedules are available on our website at www.metrobus.com.

New and improved Ride Guide launched The TimeTrack-equipped version of Ride Guide has now been launched.

With the new system, customers can access real-time information about all buses in service by using their touch-tone telephones.  Other improvements include a faster response rate, a better service bulletin messaging system, and, beginning with our Fall schedule, access to current weather forecasts.

Customers should listen carefully to the instructions at the beginning of their Ride Guide session until they become familiar with the new menu navigation.

We've gone wireless Palm, PocketPC, and web-enabled cell-phone users can now get the Metrobus information they need while they're on the move.

Metrobus has launched its new 'wireless website' at www.metrobuswireless.com designed specifically for users of web-enabled mobile devices.  Users can get TimeTrack information, route and schedule information, service bulletins and more at the new site.  You can even read a copy of this newsletter while your at the bus stop or while riding on the bus.

Customer's Corner  A customer writes: I just want to say hello to everyone at Metrobus. I use your services, primarily every weekend and some weekdays. Just wondering why route 21 has a short Sunday schedule that ends at around seven o'clock?  I asked that question to one of your drivers before but he said I should ask the City that question.  Where can I submit this question?

Metrobus responds: Thank you for your feedback. Our routes 21, 22, and 24 are actually paid for and provided by the City of Mount Pearl; they tell us where and when to operate...there probably is room for improvement on some of those routes, but they only have a certain amount budgeted for public transit in Mount Pearl. All questions or comments about scheduling of buses in Mount Pearl should be directed to Mount Pearl City Council.  You could try calling the main number for Mount Pearl City Hall and ask who would be the best person to speak with about Sunday service for route 21.
