e-Store renovated and open for business The hardhats are gone, the tools have been put away - renovations to our e-Store have been completed.

The new look e-Store (www.metrobus.com/estore) has re-opened with a number of customer service enhancements that will further improve the online shopping experience. Some of these enhancements include:

Personal Account:  upon your first visit to our new e-Store, you will create your user account, one-time only, allowing you to order from our e-Store in the future without having to enter your personal information again.

Permanent Cart:  any products added to your online cart remain there until you remove them, or until you check them out.

Address Book:  we can now deliver your products to an address other than your own.  A great way to send a pass to a friend or family member who rides with Metrobus.

Pickup Service: if you'd rather pickup your order at our offices and save the shipping charges, simply indicate this on the order form.

Order History:  view your history of purchases that you have made at our e-Store.

Electronic Gift Certificates: purchase a gift certificate on-line and e-mail it to the recipient who in turn can redeem it on-line, never having to leave the house.

In the months ahead, we will be adding new products for sale in our e-Store including quality clothing and other promotional items at fantastic prices - great items for you or great gifts for the Metrobus customer in your family.

A Note to Visitors Using Browser Pop-up Controls: if you are using browser pop-up controls, you might experience difficulties using TimeTrack and other services at Metrobus Dot Com. To avoid problems, disable pop-up controls either permanently or temporarily for Metrobus Dot Com in the configuration settings of your pop-up control software.

Customer's Corner  A customer writes:  I would first like to say that Metrobus service is excellent. I have never had any trouble with it. The drivers are always friendly and always have smiles on their faces. Everyone likes to see that. I was just wondering why there is no shelter provided for your customers on Jensen Camp Road. I know that you cannot place a shelter at every stop but there isn't one nearby to use. I would appreciate it very much if you could consider placing a shelter on Jensen Camp Road. Thank you for your time. Keep up the excellent work.

Metrobus responds: Your request for a shelter on Jensen Camp Road has been forwarded to our Transit Scheduler for review. There is a formula that we use when we are looking at an area for a possible shelter installation. In addition to the formula, we have to be able to secure enough land (either publicly or privately-owned) to erect the shelter...this is often the most difficult task.  We'd like to have a lot more shelters in the city, however, land-owners aren't always as willing as we are to install a shelter.
