Weather Conditions Affecting Metrobus Service
Under extreme weather conditions, Metrobus will remove service for the safety of its customers and employees.
Usually, zero or near-zero visibility will be the reason for the removal of service.
Once a decision to
remove service has been made, we will endeavour to provide at least 2 hours notice to the public through
our website, Ride Guide (722-9400) and local media. Please note, that although we notify local media immediately
of our decision to remove service, there is no guarantee that the annoucement will be communicated in a timely manner.
The best place for up-to-date service information is on our website and second on Ride Guide at 722-9400. During storms,
our phone lines are quite busy and you will probably receive a busy signal - keep trying, you will get through in just
a couple of tries.
