Canada Games Service Information
The 2025 Canada Games will be taking place in St. John's from August 8 - 25, 2025. It will be extremely busy in and around metro during
the Games.
Traffic volumes will be much greater with many areas of the city experiencing traffic slow downs in key areas near Canada Games venues. Traffic detours will also be in effect. Please keep this in mind and where possible, take an earlier bus to ensure you arrive at your destination on time. Route 34 will be operating during Canada Games
A special route 34 will be operating during the Canada Games to provide service to a number of Canada Games venues in St. John's. Service will operate August 10th to 16th and August 18th to 24th on a 30-minute schedule from 800a to 800p. Route 34 will not be operating on August 17th. For more details, visit metrobus.com/34.
Routes 22 and 30 will operate all day on weekdays starting in September
Starting with our Fall schedule, effective September 2nd, 2025, route 22 and route 30 will operate all day from Monday to Friday. For more details about our Fall Schedule, please visit metrobus.com/fallschedule.
